- His biography:
Kikuo Fujita received the B.Eng., M.Eng. and Dr.Eng. degrees in
mechanical engineering from Osaka University, Osaka, Japan, in
1985, 1987 and 1990, respectively. He joined the Department of
Mechanical Engineering for Industrial Machinery and Systems at
the same university in 1990. He was appointed as
Professor at the Department of Computer-Controlled Mechanical
Systems, Osaka University at 2002. He is currently Professor at the
Department of Mechanical Engineering. He had been a visiting
scholar at Department of Mechanical Engineering, Stanford
University from August 1995 to July 1996. His current research
interests include design engineering, product development,
computational design and systems engineering.
